On Jan. 19, 2023 The Board of Regents of the University of California dismissed Ting Guo from the faculty of �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis. The regents made their decision at the request of �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Chancellor Gary S. May and on the recommendation of �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ President Michael Drake, in accordance with university policy.

�°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis will join a new partner network to the National Academies’ Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education. �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis is among thirteen higher education-focused organizations in the inaugural group of network partners, which will share their work to prevent and address sexual harassment in higher education.

In-Person Options for Mandatory Training on Sexual Violence-Harassment Prevention

�°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis announced a series of in-person training sessions on sexual violence and sexual harassment prevention, for all staff in nonsupervisory roles, as an alternative to the online course that launched earlier this month. The training is newly required (and already applies to all managers and faculty).

New Online Training for Nonsupervisory Staff

Thousands of nonsupervisory staff at all �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis locations are being required for the first time to receive training in sexual violence and sexual harassment prevention. The online training is set to roll out Wednesday (March 9), and arrangements will be made to provide similar education to staff who do not have computer access.
