University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May announced today (Feb. 14) he will award the 2023 �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Medal, the university’s highest honor, to international arts patron and philanthropist Maria Manetti Shrem.

�°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Medals will be presented this spring to two alumni couples — Jacque and Wayne Bartholomew, and Pam Rohrich and Karl Gerdes — each pair having met as students and committing not only to each other but their alma mater.

University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May announced today (Feb. 7) he will award the �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Medal to alumnus Bruce West, chair of the �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Foundation Board and a member of the Chancellor’s Board of Advisors.

The chancellor made the surprise announcement at a foundation board meeting this morning. “I’m pleased to say that the 2020 recipient of the �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Medal is right here in the room,” May said as he turned to West.

Richard C. “Dick” Dorf, professor emeritus in the Graduate School of Management and in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis, has been awarded the �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis Medal in recognition of his contributions to �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis and to the fields of engineering, entrepreneurship and technology management.
