University Unites Under Mission to ‘Outgrow’

�°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis is growing, and it’s doing it together.

About 1,000 members of the campus community united last week under a new rallying cry for the university — “Outgrow the Expected” — and heard how that mantra affects more than just the campus leaders who took to the stages in Davis and in Sacramento.

“It’s an all-hands-on-deck moment for us,” Chancellor Gary S. May told the crowd in The Pavilion at the Activities and Recreation Center.

This week’s announcement of a new campaign to increase visibility of �°��ϲ��Ļ��Ϣ Davis wasn’t just about speakers on a stage — the 2020 Kickoff Celebration on Monday (Jan. 27) included interactive activities that all of the 1,000 or so staff and faculty members in attendance could take part in.
