Snarky Puppy performs at Mondavi next weekend, get tickets now
Sept. 21, 2023, 7:30 p.m., Jackson Hall, Mondavi Center
Here's a chance to see the performance of Snarky Puppy, a multi-faceted, genre-hopping band.
The Texas-bred/New York-based Snarky Puppy suddenly found itself held up by the press and public as a major figure in the jazz world.
As the Mondavi website describes it, Snarky Puppy isn鈥檛 exactly a jazz band. It鈥檚 not a fusion band, and it鈥檚 definitely not a jam band. It鈥檚 probably best to take Nate Chinen of The New York Times鈥 advice, as stated in an online discussion about the group, to 鈥渢ake them for what they are, rather than judge them for what they鈥檙e not.鈥
If you would like to check out their music ahead of time, you can do so Tickets are available for purchase .
