Mondavi Center to stream classical music Friday 

Friday doesn't have to mean watching whatever is on television or playing video games. This Friday, May 8, listen to classical music by virtuosos Cho-Liang Lin on the violin and Jon Kimura Parker on the piano. On Saturday, May 9, enjoy John Beasley鈥檚 MONK鈥檈stra, a contemporary take on the arrangements of 20th century jazz pianist Thelonious Monk. During the closures, Mondavi continues to offer free virtual concerts. The virtual concerts will be shared on the dates the shows were scheduled to occur. Click to view the full schedule of virtual concerts.

SFMOMA recreates famous art at home

The hashtag #BetweenArtandQuarantine was started by the Getty Museum in Los Angeles in late March. It encourages people to recreate their favorite works of art at home and post them online. Crocker Art Museum introduces upcoming exhibit

Christian Baldini, music director and conductor of the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Davis Symphony Orchestra, is also music director of the Camellia Symphony Orchestra in Sacramento.  While the Camellia Symphony musicians usually perform in the McClatchy Auditorium in Sacramento, they are currently performing from their homes.
