Photography at alumni center bridges art and science
The final student exhibition for 鈥淧hotography: Bridging Art and Science,鈥 a 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Davis class taught by Professor Terry Nathan, in the Atmospheric Science Program, is at the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center on the campus through Aug. 14. The exhibit features 50 student photographs exploring the conceptual connections between art and science and the role of art and science on campus.
While strolling the Buehler Alumni Center recently, I also stumbled across another exhibit of photography to the left of the lobby. Sponsored by the Mellon Research Initiative Reimagining Indian Ocean Worlds, the Exhibition is "Reimagining Iranian African Slavery: Photography as Material Culture." Give this gallery of historic photos a look too.

新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Davis鈥 AHI 401 curatorial studies class has a two-part exhibit exploring the meaning of sanctuary in the Collections Classroom at the Manetti Shrem Museum through June 17. Lots of other art to see too, including the Graduate Exhibition, which closes Sunday too.
Yolo Arts Gallery presents 鈥榩arks鈥 on exhibit
A group art exhibition, 鈥淎 Walk in the Park,鈥 presents a visual travelogue of parks visited and captured by artists throughout California and the United States. Photography, paintings and mixed media are featured in this show, running through July 31 at YoloArts鈥 Gallery 625, 625 Court St. in Woodland.
