A new app is promising shorter wait times at the Coffee House — and soon, delivery.
The CoHo, CoHo South Café and BioBrew (operated by the CoHo) now accept advance orders from faculty, staff and students via the app. You pay with AggieCash or a credit or debit card, and receive a notification when your order is ready to be picked up in a designated area at each eatery.
“Tapingo provides us an opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of collegiate food service trends,” said Darin Schluep, food service director for Associated Students Dining Services. “It will most importantly alleviate crowding in our dining areas and bring our unique student-driven food services to an expanded clientele.”
The app — which can be used by students, faculty, staff and community members — can be downloaded for free from the and the . A service charge is added to Tapingo orders, although it will be waived until the end of next week.
Starting Monday (Oct. 30), also via Tapingo, CoHo eateries will make a portion of their menus available for delivery orders, Schluep said. Tapingo will handle the deliveries, charging an extra fee.
