Jade Lopez entered 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Davis intent on using her neurobiology, physiology and behavior major to go to medical school. But a few life-changing internships opened up a new path for her in public health.
Now Jade works as a creative digital strategist for the nonprofit , where she handles communications, marketing and visual design. The nonprofit develops technology to help local youth lead healthier lives.
鈥淲hile I am a huge proponent of clinical and curative care, my passions lie more within the realm of preventative and community health care,鈥 she says. 鈥淭here isn鈥檛 a lot of room for creativity in traditional practices of medicine, so I enjoy getting to be creative with art and visual design for health communications.鈥
She became passionate about community health after interning at the in San Francisco, where she worked with a team to provide mobile HIV/AIDS testing. She later joined the and realized her heart was in public health and community service.
