Campus Experts to Talk about America's Energy Challenges

Oct. 12, Thursday -- аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis experts will join scientists, journalists, policy makers, elected officials and members of the public for the National Energy Symposium in Sacramento. Led by the California Energy Commission, the symposium will focus on the urgent energy challenge facing the American economy, with a particular focus on California and cover renewable energy, gasoline, diesel, nuclear, solar and other sources, organizers said. It will be held in the John Burton Senate Conference Room (4203) in the California State Capitol from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Speakers from аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis include Daniel Sperling, director of the Institute of Transportation Studies, and Andrew Hargadon, director of the Energy Efficiency Center.
