аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis police in collaboration with the Woodland Police Department are investigating two suspects in a carjacking that took place on campus March 15. The suspects, both juveniles, have been arrested on other charges but have not yet been charged in the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis case.
On March 13, a аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis student was sitting in his car in a parking lot on Extension Center Drive when a suspect banged on the window and threatened him with a firearm. The suspect drove off in the victim’s car, a 2018 Dodge Challenger, followed by a second suspect in a white sedan.
The stolen car was recovered the following day by Woodland police.
In a separate case, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis police have identified a suspect who allegedly brandished a gun on campus March 8, and a case has been submitted to the Yolo County District Attorney for an arrest warrant.
