Center for Mind and Brain Has Grand Opening

April 21, Wednesday -- The media is invited to a grand opening of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis Center for Mind and Brain, an interdisciplinary research program focused on human cognition. The afternoon event includes an art exhibit, dedication ceremony, tours and a reception. This is not a public event but is open to the campus community. Visitors can see a number of art pieces themed around the mind and brain beginning at 1 p.m. The dedication ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. and will feature several speakers, followed by tours of the center and a reception at 4 p.m. The center consists of 10 labs and other office space in 16,000 square feet off-campus at 202 Cousteau Place in east Davis.
