It is an honor to lead an institution of such excellence, and I am proud of our students, faculty, staff and alumni who care so deeply about our university. Here at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis, we are recognized nationally and internationally for academic excellence, scholarship, the upward mobility of our students, our contributions to the public good, environmental friendliness and a diverse, inclusive community.

Every one of us deserves to experience аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis as a nurturing environment, free of violence in all its forms. I want to be especially clear that аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis will never relent in the fight against sexual violence, as I vowed in a public statement earlier this month about Title IX protections for students who experience sexual violence on campus. I have taken the  and encourage you all to do so as well. For more information, please visit .
