Doctors learning to perform fetal heart surgery need only look to the grocery store for practice materials.
Frank Ing, chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Davis Children鈥檚 Hospital, uses grapes embedded in tubs of gelatin to give would-be surgeons a way to learn fetal heart intervention.
Using ultrasound, the students find the 鈥渉eart鈥 in the gelatin and practice inserting a needle. See how the procedure works in the above video.
