Serious and casual runners alike took advantage of the sunny weekend to join the Sunday (April 29). They ran or walked a new route that started at the Memorial Union, circled the campus and led through the arboretum before ending back at the MU.

One of the first-time runners was LeShelle May, wife of Chancellor Gary S. May. She joined and about 2,000 others, who in all raised roughly $30,000 for We Are Aggie Pride, supporting students in need, and the ASаÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢D Awards Endowment.

About a week after Picnic Day, a smaller version of the event happens for smaller Aggies: gives campus departments the chance to showcase their work for the children of faculty, staff and students. See a sampling of some of the attractions that drew kids Thursday (April 26):

 

The Manetti Shrem's got talent

Think you can dance? The staff at the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art know they can. A video they made for an international "dance-off" has bested a group of other museums, and they're asking for your help in the second round of voting Friday (May 4).
