Forum to focus on wind energy

* Dec. 17 and 18, Tuesday and Wednesday -- Experts from industry, academia, government agencies and other groups will discuss the status and future of wind energy in California at a two-day forum organized by the California Wind Energy Consortium at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis. Keynote speakers include Terry Surles, director of the California Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research program, and Randy Abernathy, Vice President of Market Services for the California Independent System Operator. Panel discussions will focus on issues in planning and developing wind energy plants, market expansion and small or distributed wind energy systems. The forum will be held in the Buehler Alumni and Visitor's Center on the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis campus.
