Feb. 11, Wednesday -- History professor Clarence Walker will explore black Christian nationalism in the context of the 2008 presidential election at a free public lecture from 12:10 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, in room 360 of Shields Library at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis.
Walker is a specialist in black American history from 1450 to the present, 19th century U.S. social and political history, and the history of sexuality, film and popular culture. His latest book is "Mongrel Nation: The America Begotten by Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings," released this month.
