July 21-23, Tuesday through Thursday -- Approximately 100 researchers, regulators and livestock industry representatives from throughout the United States and abroad will gather at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis to discuss the environmental, public health and economic issues related to the disposal of animal tissue and byproducts, especially in the event of an animal-disease epidemic or weather-related hazard. Symposium topics will include disposal of farm animal, wildlife and marine carcasses for various scenarios; public policy; response and training for government agencies; and new and emerging technologies.
