Nov. 13, Tuesday -- The public is invited to join food industry representatives and members of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis community for a daylong symposium examining what drives consumers to eat fruits and vegetables and how consumption can be increased. The event, titled "Increasing Fruit and Vegetable Consumption: Is It a Matter of Taste?" will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Walter A. Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis. Speakers will include food scientists and public health professionals. The symposium is coordinated by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis' Center for Fruit and Vegetable Quality and the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science.
