If you鈥檝e been to at least one Picnic Day (or more than a dozen, like me), you most likely know there is far more to see and do than you have time for.
鈥業GNITE OUR MOMENT鈥
Saturday (April 15)
- Opening Ceremony 鈥 9:30-10:30 a.m., grandstand on North Quad Avenue at Wickson Hall
- 鈥 10:30 a.m.
In fact, with all that the campus open house offers, you might not even know what you鈥檙e missing! I鈥檓 not talking about the 鈥渂ig鈥 events like the parade and Doxie Derby, Chemistry Show and Fashion Show, and the Battle of the Bands.
I鈥檓 taking about exhibits that may be lesser known (at least to me). I remember one year when I learned late in the day about the University Writing Program鈥檚 exhibit on the other side of campus, but by the time I got there 颅the exhibit had wrapped up for the day.
This year I am determined not to let that happen! So I took a deeper dive into the and found at least 10 exhibits that piqued my interest or had a little quirkiness to them. (My challenge now is getting to all of them Saturday!)
Before I get to my list, I鈥檇 like to encourage you to make a list of your own. Then, let鈥檚 go have our best Picnic Day ever!
Dave鈥檚 day
