Aggies still have to travel off campus to do business with the Postal Service, but that should end soon.
Officials say the campus post office will reopen next week in a trailer near Wickson Hall, several weeks after it and Campus Copies moved out of the Memorial Union to make room for construction there.
The post office was originally slated to reopen in the trailer right away, but officials had trouble scheduling a time to have the post office computers reinstalled, said Janice Corbett, business manager for ASаÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢D.
She said the post office should be up and running again by the middle of next week.
Campus Copies has already moved into the trailer, and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
In related Memorial Union construction news, officials confirmed Wednesday that the AggieCard office would temporarily move to Dutton Hall during the renovation, although they weren’t sure when it would move.
