Public Invited to Campus Growth Plan 'Scoping' Workshop

The public is invited to a Nov. 4 workshop to review and comment on аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis' proposed Long Range Development Plan and to offer suggestions regarding issues to be analyzed within its environmental impact report.

Exhibits and information about draft growth plans will be available for public viewing from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Freeborn Hall. Campus staff and consultants will also be on hand to answer questions.

Comment cards will be provided for participants to submit written comments on suggested issues for environmental analysis. Those unable to attend can also submit comments by 5 p.m. Nov. 20 via e-mail to lrdpis@ucdavis.edu or by mail to Office of Resource Management and Planning, 376 Mrak Hall, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Davis, One Shields Ave., Davis, CA 95616.

The Nov. 4 "scoping" workshop and the LRDP's environmental impact report will also address specific proposals for the university neighborhood master plan, research park master plan, multi-use stadium and habitat conservation plan.

An initial study that describes issues that may be analyzed in an environmental impact report is available in local libraries and on the Web at .

Parking for the workshop is available in Lot 17 on California Avenue, south of Russell Boulevard.
