To ensure that Fall Commencement on Dec. 14 runs smoothly, organizers are inviting staff members to participate as commencement ambassadors and serve in a variety of capacities.

Ambassadors are needed to support graduates, guests, faculty and the stage party to ensure that commencement is a positive experience for everyone.

Fall Commencement will be held at the University Credit Union Center on campus.

Roles are described on the , and volunteers may choose their preferred assignment. Ambassadors must be available to work a five-hour shift from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attend in-person training on Friday, Dec. 13, from noon to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the training.

Registered ambassadors will receive a $75 gift card, along with a commencement T-shirt, name tag, food and beverages. Ambassadors will also receive complimentary parking. No compensatory time or overtime will be provided.
